Tabletop Exercise – Discussion-based simulation where teams walk through incident response scenarios to test plans and coordination.
Tabletop Exercise (TTX) – Discussion-based simulation where participants walk through incident scenarios to test response procedures.
Threat Actor Group – Organized cybercriminal organization conducting coordinated attacks, often with specialized roles.
Threat Intelligence – Information about current and emerging threats, attacker techniques, and indicators of compromise.
TLS/SSL – Cryptographic protocols providing secure communications over networks.
Tor (The Onion Router) – Encrypted network providing anonymity; used by ransomware gangs for payment portals and communication.
TrickBot – Information-stealing trojan that frequently serves as initial infection vector for ransomware deployment.
Trojan Horse – Malware disguised as legitimate software to trick users into installing it.
TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures) – The behavior patterns and methods used by threat actors during attacks.
