GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – European Union privacy regulation requiring breach notifications within 72 hours and imposing strict data protection requirements.

Geo-blocking – Security technique that restricts network access based on geographic location.

Ghidra – Free, open-source reverse engineering tool from the NSA for analyzing malware executables.

Golden Image – A pre-configured, verified clean template of an operating system and applications used for rapid, safe system rebuilds.

Group Policy Objects (GPO) – Windows feature that allows centralized management and configuration of operating systems and applications.

GUID Partition Table (GPT) – Modern partition table format that replaced MBR; can be infected with malware that loads before the operating system.
